Primary goal – To grow internal sales capability through events and D2D sales strategy in line with UK strategic growth plan. Managing and driving a successful sales team, succession planning team leaders to head multiple regions and scale the force to provide national coverage.

Previous experience – Sales manager, sales account manager, retail sales, event sales, team supervisor, field sales.

You will be responsible for leading and building a canvassing team which introduces prospective customers to our products and services on the door-step or at one the fairs, festivals and events that we regularly attend. You will liaise with Head of UK sales on sales targets and ensure those targets are met or exceeded by your team. The role will be responsible primarily for motivating the teams and driving results in the field.

Desired skills:

•Proven experience in a high pressured sales environment

•Good understanding of a strong sales process from start to finish

•Experience in managing a large sales team and implementing a process

•Strong motivational presence, positive outgoing demeanour with a resilient attitude

•Have a passion for food and understand the ambitions of a cook from scratch delivery service

•Excellent people and customer service skills, adapting your communication and matching needs to service.

•Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Responsibilities:

•Manage and develop performance of internal team including weekly and monthly reporting, feedback and suggestions for ways to improve.

•Using on-site management skills - set the expectation and standards in the field, leading by example to inspire and motivate your team to success.

•Manage and constantly motivate the team to achieve their targets, be able to identify poor performance and turn bad days into good days.

•Identify training and/or product knowledge gaps and feedback to Training manager to ensure reps are fully equipped with the tools to achieve their targets.

•Liaise with the Events and venue planner to ensure all events are tightly managed and all KPI’s are constantly delivered on. Support with Territory mapping and spatial planning to ensure through feedback and results, we are targeting the right regions.

•Monitor overall branding at events including look and feel of stand and representation of reps including grooming

•Achieve targets outlined by Head of UK sales and be accountable for their successes and challenges.

Working pattern:

•4 days in the field/ 1 day in the office

•Weekend work expected

•5 days on a rota system – all sales managers cover all 7 days per week
